About the talk
Climate Change is a subject that is of intense interest to most of you — it is arguably the greatest current threat to humanity… Several years ago I heard Doug present on the previous IPCC report. He studied the scientific analysis in depth to determine for himself the credibility of the report, and his presentation was accessible and thorough. The presentation covered: an introduction to IPCC 2013 — The Physical Science Basis (AR5); what had been learned since AR4 (2007); the significance of the recent hiatus in warming; solar irradiance, greenhouse gases and other forcings; and what can we do about it.
